Measurement of creep properties on polymer composites with glass reinforcement prepared by technology of pultusion

Abstract:

V úvodu teoretické části je uvedena obecná charakteristika kompozitů, druhy a uspořádání vláken a druhy matric. Druhá části práce je zaměřena na výrobu kompozitů technologií pultruze a použití výrobků, vyrobených touto technologií. A v poslední části teoretické práce je uveden pojem kríp, jeho měření a Kelvinův a Tucketův fyzikální model. Praktická část zahrnuje popis přípravy vzorků, jejich frézování a přípravu na praktické měření. Dále jsou zde uvedeny výsledky měření krípových vlastností vzorků čisté UP matrice a kompozitů se skleněnou různosměrně a stejnosměrně uloženou výztuží. U všech vzorků byly měřeny krípové vlastnosti v tahu, kdy pro měřitelné zdeformování zkušebních vzorků bylo třeba vynaložit vysokých napětí, které byly na hranici experimentálního zařízení.

Abstract:

The introduction of the theoretical part brings the general characteristics of composites, their types, arrangement of fibers and usually used matrixes. The second part is focused on production of composites by technology of pultrusion and aplication of the products. Finally, theoretical concepts of creep data are described by physical models. The practical part includes a description of sample preparation by the milling and preparation for practical measurements. The properties in creep by applied tension were measured. There are presented results of the creep properties of pure UP matrix and different composites in respect of used matrixes, content of glass fibers and their orientation. It was found that the measurements performed on the present experimental equipment are on the border of the reasonable data resolution.
