Diplomová práce se zabývá historií ošetřovatelství a to zejména rozhovory s pamětníky. Jedná se o práci teoreticko výzkumnou. Teoretická část diplomové práce popisuje historický vývoj ošetřovatelské péče a porodní asistence až do období 20. století. This thesis deals with the history of nursing care mainly through the interviews with the contemporary witnesses. The thesis contains theoretical part and explorational part. The theoretical part describes historical development of nursing care and birthing assistance until the end of the 20th century.
