Saving a drowning person and helping a tired swimmer - themes of activities for pupils of the 1st grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou první pomoci během plavání a pobytu u vody. Skládá se ze dvou částí, z teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část diplomové práce shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o tom, co již o první pomoci při plavání víme. Jsou zde vysvětleny pojmy jako první pomoc, plavání, tonoucí a unavený plavec a další, které souvisí s problematikou a se kterými se zde pracuje. Část praktická navazuje na teorii a obsahuje okomentovaný návrh činností pro žáky 1. stupně základní školy, které jim dopomohou k osvojení dovedností využitelných při poskytování první pomoci.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of first aid during swimming and being near the water. It consists of two parts, theoretical and practical.The theoretical part of the diploma thesis summarizes the current knowledge about first aid during swimming. Here, terms related to the given issue and terms I will be working with drawing upon (thorough the thesis), such as first aid, swimming, drowning and tired swimmer and more will be explained. The practical part is based on theory and will contain an annotated proposal of activities for 1st grade of primary school pupils that will help them acquire skills useful in providing first aid.
