Analysis of the properties of particle composite bonded with bioplastic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na výrobu biokompozitu. Hlavním cílem je snaha o vyrobení materiálu šetrného k životnímu prostředí, zcela rozložitelného, a to díky nahrazení klasických lepidel z ropných produktů jako jsou močovinoformaldehydová lepidla, lepidly na přírodní bázi. Jako pojivo byl využit bioplast, jehož složení je tvořeno: vodou, škrobem, octem, glycerolem. Na základě literární rešerše byl jako nejlepší možnost vybrán bramborový škrob. Byly testovány jednotlivé vlivy a proměnné, jako jsou obsah vody, nebo způsob nanášení. Dále byly testovány vlivy teploty a času lisování. Jako nejlepší možnost se ukázala směs s obsahem vody 14,4 %, která byla do dřevních částic distribuována pomocí bubnové nanášečky. Následně byly desky lisovány při teplotách 180°C a tlaku 3,5 MPa. Vyrobené desky byly testovány na fyzikální a mechanické vlastnosti, kde dosáhly nejvyšších průměrných hodnot MOR-13,1 MPa, MOE- 129320 MPa a BI- 2,12 MPa

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the production of biocomposite. The main aim is to produce an environmentally friendly, fully degradable material by replacing conventional adhesives from petroleum products such as urea-formaldehyde adhesives with natural-based adhesives. As a binder, bioplastic was used, the composition of which consists of: water, starch, vinegar, glycerol. Based on a literature search, potato starch was selected as the best option. Individual influences and variables such as water content or application method were tested. The effects of temperature and pressing time were also tested. A mixture with a water content of 14,4% was found to be the best option, which was distributed into the wood particles using a drum applicator. Subsequently, the boards were pressed at 180°C and 3,5 MPa pressure. The produced boards were tested for physical and mechanical properties, where they achieved the highest average values of MOR-13,1 MPa, MOE-2932 MPa and BI-2,12 MPa.
