The influence of human resource management in building corporate culture

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je případovou studií kvantitativního výzkumu, která se věnuje vlivu řízení lidských zdrojů na budování firemní kultury. Teoretická část se na začátku zabývá základním pojmem řízení lidských zdrojů. Dále se pak pojednává o počátcích a systémech řízení lidských zdrojů. Jsou zde uvedeny a stručně charakterizovány dva základní modely řízení lidských zdrojů. Teoretická část se dále zabývá pojmem firemní kultura, jejími prvky a zdroji. Poslední subkapitola této části je pak funkce zabývá funkcí firemní kultury. Konečná kapitola teoretické části pak vysvětluje, jaký může mít vliv řízení lidských zdrojů na budování firemní kultury. Praktická část obsahuje stručnou charakteristiku vybrané firmy, její historii a služby, které poskytuje. Následuje dotazníkové šetření, díky kterému byl zjištěn současný stav vybraných prvků firemní kultury ve firmě. Na toto šetření navazuje analýza a vyhodnocení dat. Na základě analýzy zjištěných dat jsou dále formulována doporučení pro vedení firmy, jež posílí firemní kulturu organizace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is a case study of a quantitative research which is dedicated to the influence of human resources on the creation of the company culture. The beginning of the theoretical part is concerned with the fundamental concept of the human resources management. Onward it deals with the origins and systems of human resources management. Two basic models of human resources management are introduced and characterised. The theoretical part also deals with the concept of the company culture, its elements and sources. The last subchapter of the theoretical part explains what influence can have the human resources management on the company culture creation. The practical part contains the brief characteristics of the particular company and its history and service it provides. The examination via questionnaire follows, through which the state of selected elements of company culture was found out. This examination is followed by the data analysis and evaluation. On the basis of this analysis of collected data, the recommendations for the company management, which will strengthen the company culture, are formulated.
