This thesis analyzes the development of payment cards with a focus on credit cards and prediction of their future development. The focus of this work is the comparison of selected credit cards issued by banks operating on the Czech market (Česká spořitelna, Komerční banka, GE Money Bank) and one non-banking financial institution (Home Credit).
