The thesis Douglas Adams – The Reflection of Author’s Cultural Background in His Fictional Universe is based on the analysis of five books of the Hitchhiker’s pentalogy. It is focused on explaining how author’s cultural background, in this case Britishness, influences the fictional universe he creates.
