Abstract:

Práca si kladie za cieľ preskúmať rolu psychiatrickej starostlivosti v liečbe porúch príjmu potravy vo vzťahu k temporalite a autonómií. Analýza vychádza z rozhovorov s ľuďmi so skúsenosťou s nemocničnými programami naprieč ČR, z rozhovorov s personálom jednej z nemocníc a z môjho pozorovania na terapeutickom oddelení v rámci psychologickej praxe. Z hľadiska temporality identifikujem rituálne prvky hospitalizácie, rovnako ako nelineárne a nechronologické vnímanie jej časovosti. Vo vzťahu k autonómií odkazujem k teóriám neoliberálnej osobnosti a vytyčujem prvky autonómie, kontroly a podpory, ktoré napomáhajú uzdraveniu.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to explore the role of psychiatric care in the treatment of eating disorders, with a focus on temporality and autonomy. The analysis is based on interviews conducted with patients who have received treatment in various hospital programs in the Czech Republic, as well as interviews with personnel at one of the facilities, and my observations in a therapeutic department within my psychological practice. With respect to temporality, I identify ritualistic aspects of hospitalization, as well as the non-linear and non-chronological nature of the recovery process. In relation to autonomy, I reference theories of neoliberal personhood and identify elements of autonomy, control, and support that facilitate recovery.
