V mikroskopii jsou ke zvětšování využívány různé technologie. Typem mikroskopů, které poskytují největší rozlišení, jsou elektronové mikroskopy, a kvůli jejich obrovskému zvětšení je o to důležitější důraz na přesnost. In microscopy, different technologies are used for object magnification. The type of microscopes that provide the best resolution are electron microscopes. Because of their huge magnification, accuracy is very important.
