Multicast routing - principles and utilization
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá multicast směrováním. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní principy unicast a multicast směrování, jeho výhody a nevýhody. Praktická část je zaměřena na konfiguraci sítě a protokolu PIM-SM a PIM-DM, kde byl proveden rozbor komunikace. Praktické simulace jsou provedeny pro IPv4 i IPv6 adresaci.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the multicast routing. The theoretical part describes basic principles of the unicast and multicast routing, its pros and cons. The practical part is focused on the configuration of a network and the PIM-SM and PIM-DM Protocol, where a communication analysis was carried out. Practical simulations are executed for the IPv4 and IPv6 address.
