Socially Responsible Investing

Abstract:

Subject of this thesis is to analyze the use of socially responsible investment approach and design measures to streamline the use of socially responsible investment in selected enterprises to increase their awareness of the whole society . The theoretical part includes theoretical knowledge in the field of socially responsible investing, historical development, principles, areas of intervention, stakeholders, policies and strategies. Also, the current state of support of SRI in Slovakia and foreign countries. The practical part is focused on the analysis of current use of socially responsible investment approach, and comparison of indicators by GRI in selected entities Orange Slovakia, Slovak Telekom and VUB bank. Then compare the two applications SRI telecoms and financial sectors . In the fourth part of the design will be carried out an analysis conducted on the basis of recommendations which are designed to streamline the use of SZI principles with a view to the widest possible public awareness.

Abstract:

Predmetom diplomovej práce je analyzovať využívanie prístupu spoločensky zodpovedného investovania a návrhové opatrenia pre zefektívnenie využívania spoločensky zodpovedného investovania vo vybraných subjektoch s cieľom zvýšenia jeho celospoločenského povedomia. Teoretická časť práce obsahuje teoretické poznatky z oblasti spoločensky zodpovedného investovania, historický vývoj, hlavné princípy, oblasti pôsobenia, zainteresované subjekty, zásady a stratégie. Taktiež súčasný stav podpory SZI na Slovensku a v zahraničí. Praktická časť je zameraná na analýzu súčasného stavu využívania prístupu spoločensky zodpovedného investovania, a to komparáciou indikátorov podľa GRI, vo vybraných subjektoch Orange Slovensko, a.s., Slovak Telekom, a. s. a VÚB banky, a. s. Následne porovnanie aplikácie SZI v dvoch odvetviach telekomunikačnom a finančnom. V štvrtej návrhovej časti bude vykonané zhodnotenie uskutočnenej analýzy, na základe ktorej budú navrhnuté odporúčania pre zefektívnenie využívania princípov SZI s cieľom čo najširšieho povedomia spoločnosti.
