Women's Awareness about Postpartum Urinary Incontinence

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je informovanost žen o poporodní močové inkontinenci. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky o močovém ústrojí, pánevním dnu a jeho funkci. Následně je definován samotný pojem inkontinence moči s rozdělením do různých typů. Je zde samostatná kapitola, která je zaměřena na diagnostiku. V předposlední kapitole jsou shrnuty všechny metody léčby, které ženy mohou využít při potvrzení diagnózy inkontinence moči. Závěr je věnován souvislosti porodu a močové inkontinence a nejčastějším rizikovým faktorům, které vedou ke vzniku. Hlavním cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, zda jsou ženy dostatečně informované o problematice močové inkontinence po porodu. Dále je zde prozkoumáno povědomí žen o metodách léčby a rizikových faktorech, které vedou ke vzniku. Posledním cílem bylo zjistit, zda jsou ženy informované o cvičení na pánevní dno.

Abstract:

Theme of the bachelor thesis is Women's awareness of postpartum urinary incontinence. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge about the urinary tract, pelvic floor and its function. Subsequently, the term urinary incontinence itself is defined with a division into different types of incontinence. There is a separate chapter that focuses on diagnosis. The penultimate chapter summarizes all the treatment methods that women can use to confirm a diagnosis of urinary incontinence. Conclusion is dedicated to the association between childbirth and urinary incontinence and the most common risk factors that lead to its occurrence. The main goal of this study was to find out whether women are sufficiently informed about the problem of urinary incontinence after childbirth. It also explores women's awareness of treatment methods and risk factors. The final objective was to determine whether women are informed about pelvic floor exercises.
