Development of dactylographic classification systems

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historií využívání daktyloskopie jako kriminalistické identifikační metody. Popisuje vznik a vývoj daktyloskopických klasifikačních systémů s akcentem na naše území a seznamuje s procesem jejich sjednocování. V další části práce jsou popsány novodobé daktyloskopické systémy, které využívají nejmodernější výpočetní techniky. Rovněž je nastíněna mezinárodní policejní spolupráce v oblasti daktyloskopie, která rovněž vyžaduje sjednocování používaných systémů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of the use of fingerpriting in the field of criminal identification methods. It describes the origins and the evolution of fingerpriting classification systems with a focus on our country an informs about their unification process. In another part of this work more recent fingerprinting systems using the most modern computer technology are described. In the same time the international police cooperation in the field of fingerpriting which also requires an unification of the used systems is mentioned.
