Paintings on Glass in the Collection of the Museum Šumava

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Podmalby na skle ve sbírce Muzea Šumavy" je rozdělena na dvě části. První část se zaměřuje na stručnou historii muzea a sbírky, představení podmaleb na skle - jejich historie, techniky výroby, stručný souhrn teorií jejich konzervace, restaurování a laboratorních průzkumů a podmínek jejich uložení. Ve druhé části je představena sbírka samotná. Je zde zachycen druh podmaleb ve sbírce, jejich stav a způsob jejich nabytí do sbírky. Dále je zde zpracován návrh restaurátorského zásahu na nejvíce poškozených předmětech ve sbírce. Konec je věnován rozboru podmínek uložení sbírky v muzeu, nedostatkům těchto podmínek a návrhu, jak tyto nedostatky odstranit.

Abstract:

A dissertation „Glass priming in the Šumava museum assemblage“ is divided into two parts. First part is focusing on a brief museum´s history and its collections, glass priming presentation – their history, production technics, brief sum of their conservation theories, renovation and laboratory enquiries and their storage conditions. In the second part there is presented the collection itself. The kinds of primtings in the collection, their state and acquirement are cought there. And it furthermore contains a concept of restoration for the most damaged objects in the collection. The end of the dissertation was given to the analysis of the collection storage conditions in the museum, to its disadvantages and to the concept of their elimination.
