The Persuasive Aspects of University Presentations
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to analyze persuasive techniques on the web sites of eight British and eight American universities that belong among top one hundred. Firstly, persuasion and persuasive methods are defined as well as their impact on receiver. Studied corpus consists of chosen universities? home and web pages designed for prospective students where a university is introduced.

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je analýza presvedčovacích metód, ktoré sa vyskytujú na internetových stránkach ôsmych britských a ôsmych amerických univerzít, ktoré patria medzi sto najlepších. K analýze sa pristupuje po definovaní samotného presvedčovania a presvedčovacích metód a ako tieto pôsobia na recipienta.
