Abstract:
Rod Bifidobacterium patří mezi bakterie dominantně zastoupené ve střevní mikrobiotě lidí a zvířat, především v období mléčné výživy. Jedná se o sacharolytické bakterie, které pro své příznivé účinky na zdraví hostitele našly uplatnění jako probiotika. Genus Bifidobacterium represents one of the main bacterial group in the intestinal microbiota of humans and animals, especially in the period of milk nutrition. Bifidobacteria are type of saccharolytic bacteria that are generally beneficial for host health due to their probiotic effect.
