Čich je nenápadný smysl, který v životě člověka plní nezastupitelnou úlohu. Dává lidem možnost poznávat svět. Ztráta čichu u diabetiků se řadí mezi komplikace diabetu z makroangiopatických příčin. Tomuto tématu se věnují některé studie, které jsou blíže popsány v teoretické části této práce. The sense of smell is an inconspicuous sense that is very important for human being. It gives people the opportunity to explore the world. The loss of smell in diabetics is one of the complications of diabetes that is caused due to diabetic macroangiopathy.
