Resocialization of the homeless

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zmapovat a popsat, jaké jsou konkrétní překážky v resocializaci lidí bez domova v lokalitě městského obvodu Ostrava - Jih, kteří pravidelně nevyužívají poskytovanou pobytovou sociální službu, z jejich úhlu pohledu. V rámci práce bude zmapován předchozí život osob bez domova, bude zjišťována informovanost o poskytovaných sociálních službách a také budou zjišťovány klady a zápory života na ulici tak, jak je vnímají respondenti. V neposlední řadě budou zjišťovány důvody, proč osoby bez domova nevyužívají sociální pomoc, kterou mají k dispozici. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a na praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na problematiku bezdomovectví, resocializaci osob bez domova, na poskytované sociální služby, na prevenci bezdomovectví a na motivaci lidského chování. Praktická část úzce navazuje na část teoretickou. Praktická část se věnuje provedenému výzkumu, kterého se zúčastnilo 52 osob bez domova v lokalitě městského obvodu Ostrava ? Jih.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to map and describe what the specific obstacles in the social rehabilitation of the homeless in the city district Ostrava - Jih are, who do not use the provided residential social services regularly, from their point of view. As a part of the work, the previous lives of the homeless will be mapped, the awareness of the social services will be investigated and the pros and cons of the life on the street, as seen by the respondents, will also be investigated. Finally, the reasons why the homeless do not benefit from the social assistance, that is available to them, will be found out. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the homelessness, the social rehabilitation of the homeless, the provided social services, the prevention of the homelessness and on the human behaviour motivation. The practical part is closely related to the theoretical part. The practical part is dedicated to the carried out research, in which 52 homeless people in the city district Ostrava - Jih took part.
