Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá běžným problémem neinteraktivních a nezajímavých seminářů o digitální forenzních a přidružených tématech, jako je prevence kybernetických útoků a sběr důkazů. Autor navrhuje nový přístup k prezentacím seminářů, rozdělený do dvou verzí: delší interaktivní verze s praktickými ukázkami a kratší verze s živou demonstrací. Obě verze poskytují účastníkům reálné příklady útoků a praktické úkoly pro sběr, analýzu, omezení útoků a ukládání digitálních důkazů. Práce obsahuje inicializační skript pro tréninkové prostředí a připravené úkoly, díky nimž je dosažena interaktivita. Obtížnost úkolů lze dynamicky upravit podle technických dovedností účastníků a jednotlivým účastníkům jsou poskytnuty nápovědy, které je vedou k řešením. Struktura práce zahrnuje obecný popis digitální forenzních věd, následovaný kapitolami o konkrétních tématech. Zahrnutá témata obsahují úvod do digitální forenzních věd, Phishing, zachování artefaktů, Keylogging a Ransomware. Každý modul obsahuje teorii, fiktivní kontext a obsah praktického zážitku. Práce byla prezentována třikrát a dokončené semináře jsou podrobně popsány v příslušné kapitole. Celkově má tento nový přístup k prezentacím seminářů za cíl poskytnout zajímavou a účinnou metodu pro výuku důležitých konceptů kybernetické bezpečnosti různým cílovým skupinám

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis addresses the common issue of non-interactive and unengaging seminars on Digital forensics and adjacent topics like cybersecurity attack prevention and evidence collection. The author proposes a new approach to seminar presentations, split into two versions: a longer interactive hands-on version and a shorter live demonstration version. Both versions provide attendees with real-world examples of attack scenarios and practical tasks for evidence collection, analysis, mitigation of attacks, and storing digital evidence. The work contains a training environment initializing script and prepared tasks, thanks to which interactivity is achieved. The difficulty of the tasks can be adjusted dynamically to suit the attendees' technical expertise, and the instances provided to each attendee contain hints to guide them toward solutions. The structure of the work includes a general description of digital forensics, followed by chapters on specific topics. Included topics are digital forensics introduction, Phishing, Artifact Preservation, Keylogging, and Ransomware. Each module comes with its theory, fictional context, and the content of the hands-on experience. The work has been presented three times, and the completed seminars are discussed in detail in the relevant chapter. Overall, this new approach to seminar presentations aims to provide an engaging and effective method for teaching important cybersecurity concepts to various audiences.
