Setting up the Common-Rail system diagnostics methodology

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření metodiky měření palivového systému Common-Rail pro optimalizaci údržby spalovacího motoru. První část práce je zaměřena na poznání palivové soustavy vznětových motorů s přímým vstřikováním, principy funkce a porovnání paralelní a sériové diagnostiky v oblasti teoretické. Druhá část práce se zabývá praktickým měřením palivové soustavy vozidla s vyhodnocením jednotlivých naměřených hodnot a průběhů s použitím příslušných diagnostických metod a zařízení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the creation of a Common-Rail fuel system measurement methodology for the optimization of internal combustion engine maintenance. The first part of the thesis is focused on the knowledge of the fuel system of diesel engines with direct injection, principles of function and comparison of parallel and serial diagnostics in the theoretical area. The second part of the work deals with the practical measurement of the vehicle's fuel system with the evaluation of individual measured values and trends using relevant diagnostic methods and equipment.
