Strategic Analysis of Sazka in the Czech Republic Market

Abstract:

In the highly competitive and rapidly evolving gambling industry, conducting strategic analysis is crucial for companies like Sazka a.s. The purpose of this research is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Sazka a.s. in the Czech gambling market. Various research techniques such as Corporate Statements, Stakeholder, PESTEL, Porter's Five Forces, Industry Lifecycle, VRIO, and Benchmarking analyses have been utilized to gain insights into the company's performance. The research findings have been analyzed using the SWOT framework and Scenario Planning matrix, which have highlighted the company's key areas of concern. Based on the research, the author recommends Sazka a.s. to focus on expanding its online presence, developing new gaming products and services, and enhancing customer engagement. This can help Sazka a.s. to address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities in the dynamic and volatile gambling market.
