A Comparison of Gun Control Debates in the Czech Republic, Israel and the USA
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce analyzuje debaty o střelných zbraních v České republice, Izraeli a USA. Bylo zjištěno, že čtyři témata se diskutují v těchto třech zemích: bezpečnost, nelegální zbraně, duševní zdraví a sebehodnocení. Každé z témat zahrnuje nejčastější relevantní argumenty, které ve třech zemích zaznívají, a porovnává je.
Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis analyzes gun control debates in the Czech Republic, Israel and the USA. Four common themes were found to be discussed in the three countries; safety, illegal guns, mental health, and self-evaluation. Each of the themes covers the most frequent relevant arguments made in the three countries, and compares them.
