The Analysis of Principles of National Regulation on Capital Markets

Abstract:

Finanční trhy jsou bezesporu spolehlivým ukazatelem zdravého vývoje ekonomiky. Úspěšný vývoj finančních trhů, opírající se mimo jiné o důvěru investorů, může výrazně podnítit rozvoj podnikatelských aktivit. Jedním ze základních kamenů, na kterém je možné budovat důvěru investorů, je transparentnost finančních trhů, která ale sama o sobě ještě tuto důvěru v plné míře nezaručuje. Je nutné, aby byla podpořena dlouhodobou stabilitou finančních trhů, přičemž velmi důležitou roli hraje právě regulace a dohled nad finančními trhy. Stejně jako se neustále vyvíjejí finanční trhy, vyvíjí se i struktura, organizace a realizační mechanismy regulace a dohledů nad nimi. S neustálým rozšiřováním aktivit, typů obchodování a používání nástrojů na finančních trzích, vzrůstají také nároky na regulaci a dohled. Dá se říci, že kvalita fungování finančních trhů a jejich stabilita je do značné míry podmíněna kvalitou regulace a dohledu.

Abstract:

Financial markets are undoubtedly a reliable indicator of sound economic development. The successful development of financial markets based inter alia on investor confidence, can significantly stimulate the development of business activities. One of the cornerstones on which to build investor confidence is the transparency of financial markets which, however, does not guarantee that confidence in itself. It needs to be supported by the long-term stability of the financial markets with the regulation and supervision of financial markets being very important. Just as the financial markets are constantly evolving, the structure, organization and implementation mechanisms of regulation and supervision are being developed. With constantly expanding activities, trading patterns and the use of financial market instruments, regulatory and supervisory demands also increase. It can be said that the quality of the functioning of financial markets and their stability is to a large extent conditioned by the quality of regulation and supervision.
