Design of atypical furniture element suitable for cat cafe

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je návrh atypického nábytkového prvku vhodného do specifické kočičí kavárny. Práce se také skládá z návrhu celého interiéru kočičí kavárny umístěné v Brně. Struktura práce se dělí na část teoretickou a praktickou. V úvodu teoretické části jsou popsány poznatky o veřejných a kavárenských prostorech. Na téma navazuje historie kaváren Brněnských a kaváren kočičích. Dále je zde řešena problematika požadavků na daný interiér. Praktická část se věnuje samotnému návrhu atypického prvku a návrhu nového řešení interiéru. Proces navrhování začíná rešerší prvků pro kočky. Následují skici a poté technické výkresy. Celá práce je zakončená závěrečnou vizualizací.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to design atypical furniture element suitable for a specific cat café. The thesis also consists design of the entire interior of a cat café located in Brno. The structure of the paper is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The introduction of the theoretical part describes the knowledge of public and cat café spaces. The theme is followed by the history of the cat cafés and cafés of Brno. Furthermore, the issue of requirements for the interior is solved. The practical part is devoted to the design of atypical element and design of a new interior solution. The design process begins with the search for cat elements. Following are sketches and then technical drawings. The whole thesis is finished with final visualization.
