Cílem práce je za pomoci experimentu zjistit, jakým způsobem reagují účastníci soutěží na informaci o jejich relativním postavení vůči soupeři. Práce zkoumá především vliv informace na úsilí hráčů, kteří v polovině experimentu těsně prohrávají. Následně je zkoumáno, zda tento vliv působí shodně na muže a ženy. The objective of this master thesis is to determine how participants of contests react to an information about their position relative to their opponent.
