Diplomová práce pojednává o životě a kariéře legendárního violoncellisty Gregora Piatigorskeho. Gregor Piatigorsky je jedna z nejduležitějších postav historie violoncella. Kromě své téměř neuvěřitelné kariéry sólového violoncellisty, vychoval též řadu špičkových violoncellistů a kantorů violoncella. In this Master disertation, the author talks about the life and career of a legendary virtuoso cellist Gregor Piatigorsky. Gregor Piatigorsky is one of the most important figures in the history of cello.
