Time management of FM VŠE students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje zkoumání time managementu studentů na Fakultě managementu na Vysoké škole ekonomické. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak si studenti vedou svůj time management při studiu na FM VŠE, jaké metody využívají a jaký vliv má prokrastinace na schopnost studentů efektivně řídit svůj čas. Praktická část této práce se skládá z kvantitativního výzkumu s využitím dotazníkového šetření, který byl distribuován mezi studenty FM VŠE studujícími ve druhém a třetím ročníku bakalářského studia nebo v prvním a druhém ročníku navazujícího magisterského studia. Dotazník obsahoval 19 uzavřených otázek nutných k vyřešení výzkumných otázek. Pro následné vyhodnocení dat byly použity metody jako výpočet průměrů, směrodatných odchylek, korelační analýza a Welchův t-test pro porovnání skupin studentů bakalářského a navazujícího magisterského studia. Výsledky ukázaly, že ačkoliv nebyly zaznamenány výrazné odchylky nebo statisticky významné rozdíly, důležitost efektivního time managementu pro studenty FM VŠE byla potvrzena.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines the time management of students at the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics. The aim of the thesis is to find out how students conduct their time management while studying at the FM HEI, what methods they use and what impact Procrastination on students' ability to manage their time effectively. The practical part of this The thesis consists of quantitative research using a questionnaire survey that was distributed among FM VŠE students studying in the second and third year of undergraduate students or in the first and second year of a follow-up master's of the study. The questionnaire contained 19 closed questions necessary to address the research questions. Methods such as calculating averages were used for subsequent data analysis, standard deviations, correlation analysis and Welch's t-test for comparison of groups Undergraduate and postgraduate students. The results showed that Although no significant deviations or statistically significant differences were noted, The importance of effective time management for the students of FM VŠE was confirmed.
