Establishment of a new company and public budgets

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem firem a veřejných rozpočtů z hlediska vzájemných finančních toků. Cílem práce je na příkladu čtyř vybraných společností spočítat a stanovit jejich dopad na veřejné rozpočty, a to od jejich založení až po poslední vykázané období. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vztahy a rozdíly mezi veřejným a soukromým sektorem a popisuje příjmy a výdaje státního rozpočtu. Dále jsou popsány investiční pobídky, a to konkrétně z hlediska legislativy, forem pobídek a jejich efektivnosti pro státní hospodářskou politiku. Praktická část práce zahrnuje výpočet efektivnosti investičních pobídek, analýzu a vyčíslení celkových odvodů vybraných společností do veřejných rozpočtů. Jsou provedeny výpočty celoživotních nákladů na zdravotní péči a starobní důchody modelových zaměstnanců vybraných společností, a ty jsou porovnány s jejich celoživotními odvody na zdravotní a důchodové pojištění.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with relationship between companies and public budgets in terms of mutual financial flows. The aim of the work is to calculate and determine impact of four selected companies (from their establishment to the last reported period) on public budgets. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with relationships and differences between the public and private sectors and describes the revenues and expenditures of the state budget. Furthermore, investment incentives are described, specifically in terms of legislation, forms of incentives and their effectiveness for country’s economic policy. The practical part of the thesis includes the calculation of the effectiveness of investment incentives, analysis and quantification of the total contributions of selected companies to public budgets. Calculations of lifetime costs for health care and pensions of model employees of selected companies are performed, and these are compared with their lifetime contributions to health and pension insurance.
