Gender issues of corporate governance in Czech companies.
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá podílem žen ve správních orgánech společností kótovaných na pražské burze. Práce zkoumá, zda jsou v těchto společnostech rovnocenně zastoupeni muži a ženy, resp. zda je zde alespoň 40 % žen. Tento podíl navrhuje Evropská komise v připravované směrnici. This thesis deals with the proportion of women on the boards of the companies listed on the PSE. It is researched whether men and women are equally represented. The European Commission suggests 40 % of women on the boards.
