The Truancy by student´s point of view in the Children´s Diagnostic Facility in Liberec

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou záškoláctví z pohledu bývalých klientů Dětského diagnostického ústavu v Liberci. Cílem bylo prozkoumat subjektivní příčiny záškoláctví, vliv pobytu v diagnostickém ústavu na postoj žáků k vzdělávání a dopad této zkušenosti na jejich další životní dráhu. Výzkum odhalil komplexní souvislosti mezi rodinným prostředím, školním kontextem a osobními zkušenostmi s výchovnými institucemi, které společně ovlivňují fenomén záškoláctví. Práce zdůrazňuje, že účinná prevence a řešení záškoláctví vyžaduje nejen kvalitní vzdělávací programy, ale také spolupráci mezi vzdělávacími institucemi, ústavní péčí a rodinami, s důrazem na individuální přístup k potřebám žáků.

Abstract:

This thessis of truancy from the perspectives of former clients of the Children's Diagnostic Institute in Liberec. The objective was to investigate the subjective causes of truancy, the impact of the stay in the diagnostic institute on students' attitudes towards education, and the effect of this experience on their subsequent life paths. The research unveiled the intricate connections between family environments, the school context, and personal experiences with educational institutions, which collectively influence the phenomenon of truancy. The study highlights that effective prevention and solving truancy issues require not only quality educational programs but also cooperation between educational institutions, institutional care, and families, emphasizing the need for an individual approach to the needs of students.
