The usury in contemporary economic theory - the confrontation with historical perception

Abstract:

Předmětem a cílem této diplomové práce je konfrontace starověkých a ranně středověkých názorů a poznatků pojmu lichva s jejich vnímáním dnes. Práce se zpočátku zaměřuje na dotvoření historického pohledu na lichvu. Následně se práce věnuje právní úpravě lichvy v České republice za posledních 100 let. Soudobý pohled na lichvu bude vyjádřen názory ekonomů, politiků a veřejnosti. Závěrečná část obsahuje shrnutí a závěry, ke kterým jsme v práci dospěli.

Abstract:

The object and purpose of diploma thesis is the confrontation of an ancient and an early medieval views and knowledges of the concept of usury with their perception today. The thesis will initially focus on completing the historical perspective of usury. Subsequently, the thesis deals with usury legislation in the Czech Republic over the past 100 years. The contemporary view of usury will be expressed by the views of economists, politicians and the public. In the final part of thesis contains the summary and conclusion which we have reached at the thesis.
