Pokročilé prostredia pre spoluprácu potrebujú prenášať datové toky s šírkou pásma porovnaťelnou s kapacitami sieťových liniek. Problém nájdenia správnych distribučných ciest v sieti s minimálnym prenosovým spozdením bol nadefinovaný ako problém náročných datových prenosov.
