Late Quaternary development of SW scarp of Velký Kosíř elevation.

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci jsem řešil tektonické pohyby na JZ okraji elevace Velkého Kosíře pomocí kopaných rýh. Na svahu byla již dříve hloubena rýha u Stařechovic. V důsledku nedořešení všech otázek byla vybrána lokalita u Čelechovic s menším sklonem svahu, kde bylo zřejmé, že se nebudou vyskytovat svahové pohyby s hloubkovým projevem. Na této lokalitě byly vyhloubeny 2 rýhy a v nich byl následně vytvořen profil odkrytých sedimentů a bylo zkoumáno jejich tektonické porušení. Zastižen byl strmý zlom SZ – JV směru (ukloněný 70 – 75° k JZ) porušující kvartérní svahové sedimenty pod antropogenním horizontem a pod bází půdního horizontu. Předběžné datování ukazuje, že se jedná o pozdní pleistocén. Neporušený půdní horizont indikuje, že v holocénu pohyb na zlomu byl díky tomu vyloučen. Na základě pozorování v rýhách a 2 vrtech můžeme konstatovat, že se tu vyskytuje minimální posun 11 m od doby depozice. Pozorování v rýhách u Čelechovic na Hané a Stařechovic shodně naznačuje výraznou roli tektonického pohybu na formování svahu i v pozdním pleistocénu.

Abstract:

In this thesis, I solved the tectonic movements on the southwest edge elevation of Velký Kosíř by digged trenches. On that slope was already dredged trench at Stařechovice. As a result of all the unsolved questions the location near Čelechovice with less slope was chosen because there was obvious that there will be no mass movements with deep expression. On this site the two trenches were excavated and inside of them was subsequently created a profile of exposed sediments and a tectonic interuption of them was explored. The steep fault in NW-SE direction (tip tilted 70 – 75 degrees to the SW) was discovered which violated the Quaternary slope sediments beneath the anthropogenic horizont and below the base of the soil horizon. Preliminary dating indicates that this is dated as a late Pleistocene. Intact soil horizon indicates that any movement on fault in Holocene was excluded due to this fact. Based on observations in the trenches and two wells, we can conclude that a minimum 11 m shift exists there from the time of deposition.These observations in the trenches at Čelechovice in Hana and Stařechovice consistently implicit that the tectonic movement plays significant role in the slope shaping also in the late Pleistocene.
