Development of E-commerce Business in China

Abstract:

The new economy, dominated by information technology, based on the network, and supported by globalization, is expanding worldwide. E-commerce is in an unprecedented period of development, and with its strong vitality, it promotes the rapid growth of the regional economy, national economy, and world economy. As a developing country, China also feels its influence strongly. This paper reviews the development process and current status of e-commerce and summarizes its characteristics and significance of e-commerce. Taking Dangdang, a well-known Chinese enterprise, as an example, this paper analyses the promoting and restricting factors that affect the development of e-commerce in China, predicts its future growth, and puts forward relevant suggestions.
