Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce informuje o nebezpečí biologických zbraní, o tom, jak byly použity v minulosti a o hrozbě kterou představují až do dnešních dní. Práce popisuje, do jakých kategorií jsou tyto zbraně děleny, stručně popisuje nemoci, které způsobují a o programech, jak se státy pokoušely o vývoj těchto zbraní. Informuje proč by bylo nebezpečné, kdyby tyto programy fungovaly ještě dnes. Dále přibližuje nebezpečí, které dnes představuje větší hrozbu než kdy dřív, nebezpečí bioterorismu. Vysvětluje, jak je dnes obtížné získat biologickou zbraň a jaké nebezpečí to představuje pro společnost. Dále uvádí připravenost států na bioterorismus a jaké opatření už zavedli.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis to inform about the danger of biological weapons, how they were used in the past and about the threats which it presents up to these days. It describes what categories are these weapons divided, a brief description of the diseases which they cause and about the programs which world countries tried to improve and develop the weapons. It informs why particularly the possibility of those projects to be still in existence could threaten the stability of the world in these days. Further, it explains the risk, which is more probable than in the past, the danger of bioterrorism. It explains how difficult it is for people nowadays to obtain biological weapons and what threats would that present to the society. Further, states the preparedness of countries for bioterrorism and what countermeasures they already took.
