The explosive strength of the lower limbs and the agility of the table tennis player

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with impact of explosive strength of lower limbs on agility of table tennis players. We conducted a research to examine the level of explosive strength and level of agility of table tennis players in leagues in the Czech Republic. We examined the level of explosive strength of lower limbs using two tests a standing long jump and a high jump. The level of agility was measured by the Agility Check. The thesis goals were accomplished and research questions were answered. We demonstrated that the level of explosive strength of lower limbs positively influences the level of agility of table tennis players. We consider explosive strength to be an important factor which influences agility of table tennis players and thus the overall sporting performance in table tennis. We recommend table tennis players to concentrate not only on training of in-game situations but also on exercises for development of explosive strength of lower limbs, which has positive influence on agility ability of table tennis players.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vplyvom explozívnej sily dolných končatín na agilitu hráča stolného tenisu. Uskutočnili sme výskum, ktorý skúmal úroveň explozívnej sily a úroveň agility u hráčov ligových súťaží stolného tenisu v Čechách. Úroveň explozívnej sily dolných končatín sme zisťovali pomocou dvoch testov, skoku do diaľky z miesta a skoku do výšky. Úroveň agility sme určovali pomocou testu na prístroji FiTRO Agility Check. Stanovené úlohy práce sme splnili a výskumné otázky zodpovedali. Ukázali sme, že úroveň explozívnej sily dolných končatín pozitívne vplýva na úroveň agility hráča stolného tenisu. Explozívnu silu dolných končatín považujeme za dôležitý faktor vplývajúci na agilitu hráča stolného tenisu, a teda ovplyvňujúci celkový športový výkon v stolnom tenise. Hráčom stolného tenisu odporúčame zameriavať sa nie len na tréning herných situácií v stolnom tenise, ale taktiež na cviky na rozvoj explozívnej sily dolných končatín, ktorá má priaznivý vplyv na agility schopnosť hráča stolného tenisu.
