The impact of recording technology and relief depth of diffraction structures on optical atributes of holographic element

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část shrnuje základní teoretická fakta týkající se oboru holografie, tedy pojednává o fyzikálních dějích, klasifikaci hologramů a o některých nejpoužívanějších záznamových materiálech. Dále se zmiňuje o hologramu jakožto opticky variabilním prvku, předních technologiích jeho zápisu a zběžně popisuje aplikaci hologramu ve formě bezpečnostního prvku. Cílem navazující experimentální části je vyhodnocení vlivu zápisu reliéfu na jeho hloubku a periodu. Následně jsou pak zpracovány naměřená data difrakčních účinnosti jednotlivých mřížkových struktur ve stanovených fázích technologického postupu výroby holografických prvků pro zabezpečení polykarbonátových karet. Na závěr jsou komentovány nejlepší dosažené výsledky a shrnuty anomálie vypozorované v průběhu měření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devided into two parts. The first one summarizes basic theoretical facts concerning the holography field, it deals with physical processes, classification of holograms and it describes some of the most commonly used recording materials. Further it mentions hologram as an optical variable device, main recording technologies and it briefly describes applications of holograms in a form of the security element. The aim of the following experimental part is an evaluation of the influence of the relief record on its depth and period. The data processing of the diffraction efficiency was realized for each grating in the specified stage of the technological process of the holographic element production for the polycarbonate cards security system. The conclusion comments the best results and makes a summary of the observed anomalies through the measuring process.
