Distortions contained in the social and health insurance system of the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Předložená disertační práce se zabývá distorzemi v oblasti zdravotního a sociálního pojištění v České republice, zejména s důrazem na distribuci odvodové zátěže mezi osoby samostatně výdělečně činné (OSVČ) a zaměstnance. Jako taková kombinuje dva analytické přístupy vpodobě kvalitativního (zejm. analýza dokumentů) a kvantitativního (zejm. daňová elasticita a metoda modelování) zkoumání.
Abstract:
This dissertation thesis deals with distortions present in the health and social insurance systems in the Czech Republic, predominantly in the field of the premium (tax) burden affecting self-employed persons and employees. It combines two main analytical approaches, i.e. qualitative (document analysis) and quantitative (tax elasticity, mathematical modelling) research.
