Tato práce se zabývá některými aspekty sémantiky Viléma Ockhama ? jmenovitě (a) jeho teorií mentálního jazyka (nebo vhodněji jeho teorií pojmů), (b) jeho teorií supozice, (c) jeho pokusem spojit obě tyto teorie, tj. popsat proces myšlení termíny terministické tradice logiky, a konečně (d) problémy, které při tomto pokusu vzniknou. This thesis deals with some aspects of William Ockham?s semantics ? namely with (a) his theory of mental language (or, more likely, his theory of concepts), (b) his theory of supposition, (c) his attempt to combine these theories, i.e. to describe process of thinking in the terms of terministic tradition of logic, and finally (d) problems that arise out of this attempt.
