The application of value added tax in the Czech Republic, the EU and the selected world economy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním daně z přidané hodnoty v České republice, Evropské unii a vybrané světové ekonomice. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení dopadu změny inkasa daně z přidané hodnoty na rozpočet České republiky, Evropské unie a vybrané světové ekonomiky. V první části je popsán historický vývoj daní a DPH. V dalších částech pak právní úprava daně v ČR před a po vstupu do EU, krátký popis zdanění ve vybraných státech EU a jejího vývoje s návazností na globální změny. Jednotlivé kapitoly se věnují harmonizaci v rámci Evropské unie včetně základních pojmů a porovnání daní mezi jednotlivými státy z historického hlediska a z pohledu pandemického období. Aplikační část je zaměřena na změnu inkasa daně způsobenou úpravou sazeb a konstrukčních prvků DPH v ČR, EU a vybrané světové ekonomice, včetně vyhodnocení rozdílů jednotlivých typů DPH mezi vybranými státy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the application of value added tax in the Czech Republic, the European Union and selected world economy. to evaluate the impact of the change in the collection of value added tax on the budget of the Czech Republic, the European Union and the selected world economy. The first part describes the historical development of taxes and VAT. In other parts, the legislation of the tax in the Czech Republic before and after accession to the EU, a short description of taxation in the main EU states and its development following global changes. Individual chapters describe the harmonization within the European Union, including basic concepts and tax comparisons between states from a historical perspective as well as from the perspective of the pandemic period. The application part is aimed at changing the direct debits caused by the adjustment of vat rates and design elements in the Czech Republic, the EU and the selected world economy, including the evaluation of differences of individual VAT types between selected states.
