The relationship between The d2 test of attention performace, work tempo and number of errors in performance test

Abstract:

Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda výkon v testech pozornosti souvisí s výkonem v performační zkoušce založené na manipulaci drobnými dílky podle vzoru v co nejkratším čase. Porovnáván byl jak celkový výkon, tak i počet chyb, a to ve třech použitých metodách. Druhou neméně důležitou částí výzkumu bylo srovnání Testu pozornosti d2 a Vlajkového testu pozornosti, který byl vyvinut jako jeho počítačová adaptace. Souvislost mezi výkony v pozornostních testech a performační zkouškou se neprokázala. Srovnáním obou pozornostních testů byl zjištěn nepříliš těsný vztah mezi jejich výsledky.

Abstract:

The aim of this research was to investigate effect of attention tests performance on performance task that was based on manipulation of small objects according to presented pattern within shortest time possible. Total performance and number of mistakes was compared in all three methods used. Second part of experiment contained comparison of the d2 test of attention and Flag test of attention that was evolved as its computerized alteration. Connection between attention tests performance and performance task was not proven. Comparing both tests of attention, there was a week uphill relationship proven.
