Jeden regionální celek, ze kterého vznikl v roce 1947 Pákistán a Indie, a poté v roce 1971 se od Pákistánu osamostatnil Bangladéš. Tyto státy od oddělení Britské Indie se dostávají do povědomí na mezinárodní scéně. Ať už je to díky neustálým sporům či jaderné nebo teroristické hrozbě. One regional entity, from which Pakistan and India emerged in 1947, and then in 1971, Bangladesh became independent from Pakistan. These states have become known on the international stage since the separation of British India. Whether it is due to constant disputes or a nuclear or terrorist threat.
