Vzhledem ke schopnosti živých organizmů přežívat řadu let a přizpůsobovat se okolním podmínkám, je mechanizmus evoluce inspirací pro vytvoření genetického algoritmu. Cílem této práce je prozkoumat možnosti využití genetického algoritmu pro segmentaci digitálních obrazových dat, vhodným způsobem tento algoritmus naimplementovat a vytvořit nástroje pro jeho testování. In consideration of living organisms' ability to endure for years, and their ability to adapt to surrounding environment, the mechanism of evolution is the inspiration for creating a new genetic algorithm.
