Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na osobnost cestovatele Leoše Šimánka a jeho místo, které zaujímá v literární i nakladatelské kultuře. V této práci se zabývám i historickým vývojem cestopisů a míst. Zkoumám specifický styl tohoto žánru a také způsob vyprávění. Vyprávěním se budu zabývat nejen z pohledu Šimánka, který cestopis napsal, ale také ze strany čtenáře. Tyto skutečnosti budu dokládat na ukázkách z jednotlivých knih.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the personality of the traveller Leoš Šimánek and his place, which he occupies in literary and publishing culture. In this work I also deal with the historical development of travel books and places. I deal with the specific style of this genre and also the narrative mode. I will deal with the narrative not only from the point of view of Šimánka, who wrote the travelogue, but also from the reader. I will substantiate these facts in samples from individual books.
