Cílem této bakalářské práce je objasnění pojmů používaných pro připojení rozlehlých počítačových sítí. V práci jsou velmi stručně představeny hlavní charakteristiky WAN, hierarchický model sítě, terminologie WAN. Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the terms used to connect large networks. It presents the main characteristics of the WAN, the hierarchical network model and WAN terminology. Concepts of switching WAN, Point-to-Point Protocol and services for teleworkers would be explained as well.
