Bachelor thesis focuses on mortgage banking in conditions of SR and CR. The first chapter deals with theoretical definition of a term mortgage bank, mortgage, mortgage bonds and municipal loan. The second chapter is oriented on analysis of mortgage banking in SR and CR and consequently it focuses on analysis of a concrete mortgage in selected banks in SR and CR. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou hypotekárneho bankovníctva v podmienkach SR a ČR. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na teoretické vymedzenie pojmu hypotekárna banka, hypotekárny úver, hypotekárne záložné listy a komunálny úver.
