Inflation and its Regulation in the Russian Federation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku inflace v Ruské federace. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány pojmy tykající se daného tématu, druhy, způsoby měření a důsledky inflace. Je definována centrální banka, měnová politika a cílování inflace. Jsou zde rovněž uvedeny nejvýznamnější události, které měly dopad na inflaci v Ruské federace. V praktické části práce je uveden rozbor spotřebního koše a vývoj míry inflace v jednotlivých letech. Je porovnána skutečná inflace s prognózou Centrální banky Ruské federace a po zavedení režimu cílování inflace v zemi jsou vypočteny odchylky skutečné inflace od inflačního cíle. Je provedena komparace vývoje základní úrokové sazby Centrální banky Ruské federace a vývoje míry inflace v letech 2015-2020.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of the inflation in the Russian Federation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concepts related to the topic, types, methods of measurement and the consequences of inflation. There is a definition of central bank, monetary policy and inflation targeting. It also lists the most significant events that have had an impact on inflation in the Russian Federation. The practical part of the work presents an analysis of the consumer basket and the development of the inflation rate in individual years. The actual inflation is compared with the forecast of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and after the introduction of the inflation targeting regime in the country the deviations of the actual inflation from the inflation target are calculated. A comparison is made between the development of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the development of the inflation rate in the years 2015-2020.
