Complete Nursing Care for a Patient with Breast Cancer

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče o pacientku s karcinomem prsu. Práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do 3 celků, které jsou zaměřeny na celkovou charakteristiku onemocnění, ošetřovatelskou péči, rehabilitaci a péči v domácím prostředí. V další části je popsán ošetřovatelský proces a koncepční model Marjory Gordon. Teoretická část je zpracována z materiálů, které vycházejí z rešeršní strategie. V praktické části bakalářské práce je popisována ošetřovatelská péče, formou kazuistiky, o pacientku s karcinomem prsu po parciální mastektomii, která byla hospitalizována na oddělení aseptické chirurgie. U zpracovaných ošetřovatelských diagnóz jsou stanoveny cíle, očekávané výsledky a ošetřovatelské intervence. Dále je popsána realizace a zhodnocení ošetřovatelské péče. Praktická část byla vypracována dle koncepčního modelu Marjory Gordon a ošetřovatelské diagnózy byly stanoveny dle NANDA I taxonomie II 2018-2020. V závěru práce jsou navržena doporučení pro praxi. Výstupem praktické části je informační leták pro pacientky s názvem – Jak předejít vzniku lymfedému? Materiál by mohl být v praxi užitečný právě pacientkám, které jsou po operaci nádorového onemocnění prsu.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is Complete Nursing Care of a Patient with Breast Cancer. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical section. The theoretical section is divided into 3 units focusing on the overall characteristics of the illness, nursing care, rehabilitation and care at home. The next section describes the nursing process and Marjory Gordon's Functional Health Pattern Model. The theoretical part was put together using materials based on the research strategy. The practical section of the thesis describes nursing care in the form of a case report of a patient with breast cancer after partial mastectomy who was hospitalised in the aseptic surgery department. The goals, anticipated results and nursing interventions are set for the nursing diagnoses. The implementation and evaluation of nursing care is also described. The practical part was put together based on Marjory Gordon's Functional Health Pattern Model, and nursing diagnoses were determined according to NANDA I taxonomy II 2018-2020. The conclusion of the thesis provides recommendations for practice. The output of the practical part is an information leaflet for patients entitled 'How to prevent lymphedema'. This material could be useful in practice for patients post breast cancer surgery.
