Tato diplomová práce poskytuje analýzu britsko-amerického historického seriálu Outlander, v češtině překládaném jako Cizinka. Tento seriál sleduje fiktivní postavy, které však procházejí skutečnými historickými událostmi, a to v různých časových obdobích a odlišných částech světa. Abstract:
The present master's thesis provides an analysis of British-American historical television series Outlander. This series follows fictional characters that live their lives within real historical events in various time periods and diverse parts of the world. This thesis focuses on how the historical background in the series is depicted and whether it corresponds with the generally known facts.
