Socio-economic and demographic analysis of Microregion Moravian Karst

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá demografickou a socioekonomickou analýzou mikroregionu Moravský kras v letech 2010-2022. Znalost demografického vývoje představuje nejen v rámci jednotlivých obcí, ale i vyšších územních celků zásadní význam pro jejich rozvoj. Na základě teoretických poznatků je pak dále v práci zkoumáno obyvatelstvo mikroregionu z pohledu demografické statiky, dynamiky i v rámci socioekonomických ukazatelů. Mikroregion se stejně jako jiné územní celky České republiky potýká s řadou negativních jevů demografického vývoje vyspělých států, jako je rostoucí index stáří nebo také vysoký index ekonomického zatížení obyvatelstva. U vybraných ukazatelů je demografická analýza rozšířena o predikci budoucích hodnot ukazatele založenou na modelování časových řad pomocí trendové funkce.

Abstract:

The final thesis is focused on demographic and socio-economic analysis of the Microregion Moravian Karst in 2010-2022. The demographic development of the municipalities and higher territorial units is essential for their overall development. Further in the thesis is on the base of theoretical knowledge examined the population of the microregion from the point of view of demographic statics, dynamics and within the framework of socio-economic indicators. The microregion is as well as other territorial units of the Czech Republic faced with a number of negative phenomena of the demographic development, such as growing index of old age or index of the economic burden. For selected indicators, the demographic analysis is extended by the prediction of future values based on analysis of time series method.
